The Pumpkin Patch At Texas Pumpkin Fest

Head out to Leander, Texas any weekend after October 3rd and bring the kids. From 10 am to 9 pm it is Halloween all day. The gigantic pumpkin patch has your family Halloween photos waiting, and it is free with admission. If you are feeling brave, the hall of monsters is an indoor haunted house with props and scary animatronics. For the kids to run around, they have a giant slide, a pumpkin spinner, and bounce house.

Pumpkin Nights at Pioneer Farms

If you are already adding pumpkin spice creamer to everything, good news Pumpkin Nights opens September 18 and runs until Oct. 31. Right here in Austin on Pioneer Farms Drive. You and your family can walk the half mile trail and tour the fall-themed light up exhibits. This year they include the Pirates Cove, and the Enchanted Forest. 3 Haunted Houses At Bat City Scaregrounds

Ok this one is a little spicier than a haunted hayride and doesn't admit kids under 5. Bat city is a 15 acre complex with 3 separate haunted houses. For 2025 there is: MallRats Selling Murder, Castle Orlock, and Ancient Evil. The scenes in these houses are very life-like and spooky folks are hidden around dark corners. House of Torment

Another one nestled right in Austin, the House of Torment is exactly that. This one is usually scary and this year they have 3 attractions. Blood Stained- a trek through a Vampire Queens Ruins. Cursed Pharohs Tomb- an ancient catacomb with a haunted Pharoh King and Le Casa De Bruja, watch out for this lady! After you go through they have a redemption pass for a second trip, axe throwing and mini escape games. Here is their website
