Trick Or Treat The Childrens Museum Houston

1500 Binz St, Houston, TX 77004

Dress up the kids, from Oct 5th to Oct 31st you can head to the Houston Children's Museum and hunt for treats. Tues-Fri from 3-5PM and Sat/Sun all day. Thursday night is free family night, and a fun night to go. Also, if you show up in your Halloween costume, you can get 2$ off your admission price on any day. Scream On The Green At Discovery Green

1500 Mckinney Street, Houston, TX 77010

On Oct 25th from 6-10pm Discovery Green Is Putting On their annual Halloween festival, Scream on The Green. They will host a costume contest, showcase living sculptures, and live music. If you get there before 7pm they are showing "Beetlejuice," the movie. If you want to double dip Halloween, this will be a good warm-up to the trick-or treating to follow, and hey maybe you got 2 costumes this year and want to wear them both.. All the info is here.

Deer Park Halloween Carnival 2025

We all like a good carnival, and Deer Park has a nice one on October 25th from 2-5 PM. Check out Pumpkin Town for some games, enjoy a costume contest, Monster Maze, inflatable bouncers for the kiddos and some Halloween Treats. If you grab your wristband online before Oct 25th you will save 5$ per ticket. If you are attending with a sensory sensitive person, you can visit the carnival an hour before it opens and enjoy a quieter environment with dimmed lighting. Here is their website

Get Scared at Purgatory Scream Park

1965 Northpark Dr. Kingwood, TX 77339

If you have ever been to a haunted house and wished it could last like 45 minutes, well this one does. Starting Sep 19 weekends at 8pm the Scream Park Opens. This place is huge with 4 separate haunts, Kingwood Asylum, Aspyxia, Deadwood and Hysteria. There are different actors and sets as you walk through. Spoiler, Hysteria is a creepy haunted carnival midway. You can do a VIP pass to skip the lines, also be on the lookout for the food trucks if you need a snack before you get scared. Go To Scream Fest Houstons Largest Haunted Amusement Park

1500 Elton Street Houston, TX 77034

Starting the first Friday of October, this one is going to let you do the haunted house as many times as you want. The entire walk-through lasts about 20 minutes and the Sanitarium is very scary! Also you will see the Castle Of Doom, The Graveyard, and Castle De La Llarona. While you wait in line, they offer concerts most nights, free drinks, and a carnival midway with vendors.
